The Shoe Project - In Recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month

This dramatic visual display of more than 1500 shoes representing the victims served last year by West Virginia ’s nine rape crisis centers will be on display on the Capitol steps. Many of the shoes have survivor stories attached. A brief program will be presented at 1:30p.m. , with guest speaker Delilah Rumburg ,  Executive Director Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape & The National Sexual Violence Resource Center .
